Cadillac XT5

The Side Detection System warning light came on. I found that other vehicles in our blind spots were not be recognized by the system. The warning lights were not being activated on the side mirrors. The system was repaired at the dealership at a cost of $865.43. When speaking withe the service technician he said this is happening quite frequently. They found three wires that were corroded and two more that showed signs future issues.

The thermostat quit working. I've researched this issue and have seen this is a very common issue usually occurring when the vehicle has somewhere between 45000 to 55000 miles.

Since I purchased my 2022 Cadillac XT5 which was on 5-9-26, I have had issues with the performance of the transmission. Every time I slow down, the car down shifts very abruptly and roughly until the car comes to a complete stop. I also experience rough gear shifts when accelerating as well. The vehicle does not recognize when it is in park . To use the Cadillac maps app you have to approve to their terms . When I tried to read it ,I get two warnings that tell me I must be in park . I purchased the car on XXX. The car has been returned to the service department within the first 3 days. Sold to me without getting fully inspected. My passenger side, dashboard bowls up in the heat and doesn’t seat properly. My fear for safety is that if I’m in an accident that airbag will not come out due to the dash bubbling because of the defect.. I took my SUV to Heritage Cadillac in Lombard, IL for a revving sound while accelerating, specifically from 0-35mph and then acceleration on the highway at higher speeds.
