My Cadillac Lyriq 1GYXPZRL1TZ601181 Has dents on the passenger roof rail. There are three dents one above the front door and 2 on the rear door. I discovered the dents on May 17, 2026 and I showed my local dealer on May 18, 2026. I have not been in a hail storm. My dealer said I need to file an insurance claim. Upon further research I have discovered that other owners have reported the same mysterious roof rail dents.

I put the car in reverse and released the parking brake. The car started to move backwards. However, the back passenger door was wide open, and the passenger was standing outside the car in the path of the open door. OnStar system on the vehicle is busted. Because of this the accident detection no longer works and the GPS is stuck in no mans land which makes it impossible to use their app to figure out charging percentage, how far and route to take to the nearest charging station.

Car has been asleep after parking and will not wake up leaving all electrical components dead. GM has not been able to repair and unfortunately this has occurred 5 times including twice the month of March, 2026. Having a car parked in an unsafe location and not being able to move it very unsettling. After 30-60 minutes the car will start back up and operate normally.
