BMW car states suddenly loss of power and entering turtle mode. Then car suddenly stops or loses speed while driving. Battery potential appears to degrade and starts with inability to deceleration. Very dangerous conditions for driving. The car will lose battery potential and then shutdown reduce speed suddenly and/or completely stop. The BMW dealership has replaced 2 cells in the modular battery that restored some service so the sudden loss of power is not constant

The Parking Assistant malfunctioned. When Parking Assistant took over the vehicle, it reversed too quickly and slammed into an EV charger, causing damage to the rear of my vehicle and the EV charger. The rear cameras did not detect the fixed EV charger.

The contact owns a 2025 BMW IX. The contact stated that while driving approximately 65 MPH, the vehicle independently accelerated without the accelerator pedal being depressed. The contact depressed the brake pedal to avoid a crash and the vehicle eventually returned to normal operation. The failure had occurred on several occasions. A dealer was contacted. THIS VEHICLE HAD A BRIEF WARNING TO STOP DRIVING AND QUICKLY LOST ANY POWER. THE VEHICLE WAS COMPLETELY DISABLED IN THE MIDDLE OF A BUSY HIGHWAY. THERE WERE DEFINITE SAFTEY CONCERNS TO MYSELF AND OTHERS REGARDING COLLISION POTENTIAL. THE PROBLEM IS CONFIRMED IN MULTIPLE ELECTRIC BMW IX MODELS BY DEALERS AND OTHER OWNERS. BMW HAS CONFIRMED DRIVE CHAIN FAILURE RELATED TO MANUFACTURING DUST IN THE MOTOR OR COOLING PUMP FAILURE. THIS SAFETY PROBLEM CONTINUES TO PRESENT IN IX VEHICLES.
