2018 ALFA ROMEO GIULIA
Filed Sep 2, 2026
My Alfa Romeo with VIN [XXX] has an active recall 93C (NHTSA Recall 25V586) related to the Fuel Delivery Module. The recall specifically states that this issue can lead to a sudden loss of drive power while driving and possibly result in a crash. Due to the closure of the dealership in San Antonio where I live and purchased the car, the nearest Alfa Romeo authorized service center is in Austin, Texas. This is a distance of 125 miles from my home and involves primarily driving on highways with…
2019 ALFA ROMEO GIULIA

1. The fuel delivery/fuel pressure system is malfunctioning. The vehicle has experienced fuel-pressure related diagnostic trouble codes, loss of power, stalling, and limp mode. The fuel pressure sensor was replaced, but the same diagnostic codes and symptoms continued. The symptoms are consistent with the fuel delivery module/fuel pump defect described in NHTSA recall 25V586. The vehicle and affected components are available for inspection upon request. 2. The vehicle repeatedly enters limp…
2018 ALFA ROMEO STELVIO
Filed Aug 27, 2026
I am reporting an authorized manufacturer franchise dealer for actively refusing to remedy a federal safety recall and unlawfully withholding my vehicle. My vehicle is a 2019 Alfa Romeo Stelvio (VIN: [Insert VIN]), which is subject to the active Fuel Pump Safety Recall (NHTSA Campaign 25V586000 / Manufacturer Recall Code 93C). The vehicle has been physically located at Southern Alfa Romeo of Norfolk ([XXX]) for approximately 18 months. The dealership service management has explicitly stated…
2019 ALFA ROMEO STELVIO
Filed Aug 24, 2026
I'm driving and all of a sudden - while I'm on the highway - a service engine pops up on the dashboard, and my car looses all power and drive ability. I immediately loose any gas/drive ability to accelerate or maintain legal speeds. I read about the recent recall with the fuel system and it's exactly what my car is experiencing, but somehow my VIN is both telling me that my car has a recall at one place, and then doesn't have a recall at another. It's confusing and Im not sure what the…
2019 ALFA ROMEO STELVIO

1. COMPONENT FAILED & INSPECTION: The transmission ground strap (uninsulated, bare braided copper cable) completely corroded/severed from environmental decay. This open ground circuit forced high engine-cranking currents into secondary low-voltage paths, causing an extreme thermal surge that melted and shorted out the main engine compartment wiring harness. Both failed components are preserved by the owner and are available for forensic inspection upon request. 2. SAFETY RISK: This…
2020 ALFA ROMEO GIULIA
Filed Aug 21, 2026
My fuel pump started to fail. I am open to having it inspected, the problem is I already replaced it myself because I wasn’t aware of the fuel pump recall for the 2017-2019 models. I know my vehicle is a 2020 but it was manufactured in 2019. It happened twice, I was driving on the highway when my car suddenly lost power. I couldn’t accelerate and I had to merge through multiple lanes to try and pull over safely. I took it to the Alfa Romeo dealership and they were the ones to tell me my fuel…
2017 ALFA ROMEO GIULIA
Filed Aug 19, 2026
I own a 2017 Alfa Romeo Giulia that recently received a fuel-pump-related recall repair under FCA Recall 93C / NHTSA Campaign 25V-586 at an authorized Alfa Romeo dealership. Approximately three days after the recall repair was completed, I was driving the vehicle in active traffic with my daughter when the vehicle unexpectedly began decelerating and lost drive power. I had to shut the vehicle off, and afterward the vehicle would not restart. The vehicle had to be towed back to the Alfa Romeo…
2018 ALFA ROMEO STELVIO
Filed Aug 18, 2026
The contact owns a 2018 Alfa Romeo Stelvio. The contact stated that while driving 30 MPH and depressing the accelerator pedal, several unknown warning lights were illuminated, before the vehicle went into LIMP Mode. The contact stated that there was a rattling sound coming from the turbo charger. A dealer was contacted. The vehicle was diagnosed, and it was determined that the turbo charger needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure.…
2017 ALFA ROMEO GIULIA
Filed Aug 13, 2026
My 2017 Alfa Romeo Giulia lost motive power and was disabled multiple times the most recent on August 3, 2026 due to failure of the fuel delivery module — the same component and failure mode covered by Safety Recall 93C / NHTSA Campaign 25V-586. When I contacted the dealership, they confirmed the recall applied to my vehicle but advised that replacement parts were not available. No loaner or alternate transportation was offered. I was without my vehicle for 8 days and had to rent a vehicle at…
2020 ALFA ROMEO STELVIO

Car stalled/ went into limp mode 4 separate times for fuel pressure issue. Is not drivable, does not accelerate, throws erroneous error codes. The recall Y91 covers this issue for 2020 Stelvio. When I contact Mopar they say it is not open on my vin. How is this possible?
