2023 NISSAN ROGUE

Filed May 28, 2026

While driving my 2023 Nissan Rogue on Interstate xxx from [XXX] to [XXX] with my xxx daughter in the vehicle, the vehicle suddenly displayed multiple warnings including collision assist/sensor malfunction warnings, start/stop system failure warnings, and “check owner’s manual” messages. Immediately afterward, the vehicle experienced a sudden loss of power and refusal to accelerate. At the time of failure, I was traveling approximately 78 mph in the fast lane of the interstate. The vehicle…

While driving, I swerved slightly to avoid a dog and went into a shallow ditch less than one foot deep. There was no collision, no structural damage, and no repairs needed to the vehicle. Despite the extremely minor impact, both airbags deployed unexpectedly. This deployment was violent and occurred without a qualifying crash. I believe this indicates a faulty airbag sensor, airbag control module malfunction, or other defect in the airbag system.

Fire

Component/System: The fire department determined the cause of the fire to be accidental due to an electrical malfunction within the vehicle. The most extensive damage was located in the engine compartment, though damage spread to the passenger compartment as well. The vehicle is available on request. The vehicle caught fire while parked on a street. No injuries or displacements occured. However, the vehicle became well involved with fire, creating an active emergency that required emergent…

I purchased a 2023 Nissan Rogue from Bella Nissan in Union City in September 2025. The dealership failed to disclose to me that there was an open recall on my vehicle. Several weeks later, the car shut down on me while I was driving back to work from lunch, which was extremely dangerous as well as frightening. I missed half a day’s pay because I could not return to work. I had to return the car to the dealership where they blew off my concerns and initially did not want to give me a loaner car…

2016 NISSAN ROGUE

Filed May 27, 2026

Vehicle experienced hesitation and intermittent delayed acceleration beginning around 2018, with symptoms progressively worsening over time. In the past week, the check engine light illuminated and the vehicle began experiencing significant acceleration delay from stops, including engine revving without proper acceleration for approximately 5-10 seconds. In some cases, the vehicle would not accelerate until the engine was turned off and restarted. Vehicle also became unusually loud during…

The contact owns a 2021 Nissan Rogue. The contact stated while her husband was driving 75 MPH in the far-left lane, with the contact in the front passenger's seat, the vehicle completely lost power steering functionality in heavy traffic. Both the contact and her husband were significantly frightened. The contact's husband was able to drive to the right lane and pulled over to the side of the road. The vehicle was towed to the dealer, where it was determined that the entire power steering…

2018 NISSAN ROGUE

Around 100,000 miles, my vehicle began experiencing intermittent hesitation, sudden loss of power, and frequent stalling. Prior to the complete failure, the vehicle would occasionally hesitate during acceleration and feel like it was losing engine power while driving. Over time, the problem became more frequent. One day, while driving approximately 50 mph on a side road, the vehicle suddenly stalled without warning and completely lost power. I was luckily able to avoid an accident, and no one…

2018 NISSAN ROGUE

Filed May 27, 2026

The vehicle experienced failure of the HVAC heater flap/blend door mechanism on the driver’s side. Specifically, the plastic gear assembly broke at its mounting point, causing the gear to spin freely and preventing the airflow door from opening and functioning properly. As a result, the driver’s side heating and airflow system no longer operated correctly. The failed component is available for inspection upon request. Because the manufacturer does not sell the small gear component separately,…
