2026 NISSAN PATHFINDER

Filed Sep 2, 2026

While driving the vehicle it has gone into neutral 3 times prior to 8,000 mile. The vehicle was bought new. Two of the three times I was pressing the gas pedal and holding it steady. Speed was ~ 40-45 MPH. RPMs increased from ~1500 to over 3000. I had to come to a complete stop to put the vehicle back in drive. The other instance happened as I was pressing the brake pedal. As I took my foot off of the brake pedal to press the gas pedal, the RPMs increased from ~1000 to over 2000. The…

I am submitting this complaint regarding a safety concern involving my 2024 Nissan Pathfinder, which has approximately 19,000 miles on the vehicle. The rear brake pads were found to be excessively worn and required replacement at only 19,000 miles. I consider this premature brake-pad wear to be a significant safety concern given the relatively low mileage and age of the vehicle. The braking system is a critical safety component, and I would not expect the rear brake pads on a relatively new…

2025 NISSAN PATHFINDER

Filed Aug 26, 2026

The hydraulic braking system failed, causing a complete loss of brake pedal resistance and a severe brake fluid leak. The vehicle is currently located at an authorized Nissan dealership and is available for inspection upon request. The vehicle suffered a sudden braking failure while traveling at highway speeds with my family inside. The brake pedal lost all resistance, requiring me to slam the pedal completely to the floor just to slow the vehicle down from 30 mph to 10 mph. The vehicle would…

2023 NISSAN PATHFINDER

The left-side steering wheel control switch assembly governing the driver information matrix and emergency assist features malfunctioned, and this failed component remains on the vehicle and is available for inspection upon request. This sudden loss of functionality put safety at risk by restricting my ability to navigate vital safety menus and emergency settings while operating the vehicle, creating an active driver distraction. The problem has not yet been reproduced or confirmed by a dealer…
