While driving the vehicle it has gone into neutral 3 times prior to 8,000 mile. The vehicle was bought new. Two of the three times I was pressing the gas pedal and holding it steady. The rear brake pads were found to be excessively worn and required replacement at only 19,000 miles. The car is sending off the alarm for the back seat not being buckled when there is no one back there and there is nothing on the seats, it is now also doing it where it does that but shows one of them as buckled when there’s no one in the seats

The contact owns a 2015 Nissan Pathfinder. The contact stated that while driving at an undisclosed speed, the hood unexpectedly opened and was damaged. The hood ledge and structure were damaged due to the failure. The contact associated the failure with NHTSA Campaign Number: 22V420000 (Latches/Locks/Linkages). The dealer was contacted but declined to acknowledge the damages caused by the failure. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 93,000.
