Lexus NX300

I have been noticing sluggish acceleration since the end of 2024, specially when fuel falls below or equal to half tank, I took my vehicle to the dealership several times and specifically instructed them to inspect my acceleration issue but every time said no issue on fuel pump. They even failed to reproduce my problem even though I paid for diagnostic. I would like to earnestly request NHTSA to consider this issue seriously and take action at your earliest convenience. The sun roof suddenly shattered while driving at a high rate of speed on the freeway. A large chunk of glass broke upward and sprayed cars behind me. Shards of glass fell into the passenger area. The was a large bank and whoosh of air startling the driver.

While I was driving on the highway in cruise control, my car suddenly broke the cruise setting, slowed down, and the check engine light turned on. I pulled over and the car would not accelerate to over about 15-20 mph. I made it to an auto center, where they informed me that the reader said there was an issue with one of the fuel pumps. I am aware that there is a recall on fuel pumps in this model of vehicle and I believe that I experienced this defect.

Our 19-month old Lexus NX450h with under 7,000 miles on it was not driven for a week. When we went to start the vehicle this morning, the car would not unlock via the keyfob, credit card key or app. The car required AAA to open the doors and jump start it. This is a very common failure with the 12-volt battery in the Lexus NX hybrids. This could result in a motorist being left stranded somewhere.
