Vehicle failed to start and a jump is required to start the vehicle for the first time on 10/6/2026. This has now happened numerous times and at times when the vehicle's power train batteries are charged. 2022 KIA EV6 ICCU failure. Car stopped Level 1 and Level 2 charging. Dealer confirmed failure and replaced under warranty. This was the best of the failure modes, we were not stranded and the 12v battery continued to the charged. Thanks.

Something with the electrical system in this electric vehicle was not functioning properly as the car would go into turtle mode as the service department called it. 45 mph then dropping to 30 mph before reaching the dealership. The contact owns a 2025 KIA EV6. The contact stated that while entering the parked vehicle, he observed that the front driver-side wheel well melted from the inside out. Two dealers were notified of the failure in person. The manufacturer was notified of the failure by phone. The failure mileage was approximately 6,000.

On Sunday, October 4, 2026, the vehicle lost drive power while I was operating it. At the same time, steering became extremely difficult and the brakes required extraordinary physical force to apply.
