Buick Encore GX

At 15,000 miles the check engine light came on while going to a store. At the store, the vehicle was put in park and tried to shut off engine. The dash said shift to park. Took to the dealer, was told sensor went out on transmission. They said it was the electronic controle module. They didn't think that was part of the drive train warranty. Failure of the evaporative emission purge pump at 34,600 miles. Diagnostic code P146B (pump failure). VIN not included on the affected vehicle list but should be. Failed pump part number is 25204641 (matches affected pump part numbers).

Vehicle does not recognize it is in Park even when the shifter is placed in that position. As a result, the vehicle cannot be turned off. GM has issued a technical service bulletin for this issue, but has not yet performed a recall.

The cluster display shows shift to park even while vehicle is stopped, gear shift in park position, and engine is off.

The Frontview camera or its software is the issue. It allows the car to drift outside of the lane on both sides of the car before warning and or pulling you back over but then it just pulls you to the other line and lets you cross it back and forth if you let it and every time crossing the line.
