The contact owns a 2018 Acura TLX. The contact stated that while starting the vehicle, the engine started knocking. The contact associated the failure with NHTSA Campaign Number: 23V751000 (Engine and Engine Cooling). The contact stated that the closest dealer was a two-hour drive from the residence. The manufacturer was contacted by phone and was made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 89,000.

My transfer case is blown they want to charge me $14,894.90 to replace the transmission and PTU. My vehicle is only front wheel drive right now. I brought up that this is happening to multiple vehicles like mine and should be under a safety recall.
